The Role

We’re looking for a results-obsessed Performance Marketer to scale Afina’s paid acquisition channels profitably. You’ll own the strategy, execution, and optimization of our paid media efforts across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging platforms—turning ad spend into efficient, measurable growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives in ad dashboards, thinks in ROAS and CAC, and gets energized by finding the next winning creative or audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Paid Media Strategy & Execution: Plan, launch, and manage paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google (Search, Shopping, YouTube), TikTok, and other relevant platforms. Own full-funnel strategy from prospecting to retargeting.
  • Budget & Bid Management: Manage and allocate monthly ad budgets to maximize ROAS and hit CAC targets. Monitor spend pacing daily and adjust bids, budgets, and audience targeting in real time.
  • Creative Strategy: Partner with the creative team to develop high-performing ad concepts, hooks, and formats. Drive the creative testing roadmap—static, video, UGC, and dynamic ads—with a data-backed approach to iteration.
  • Audience & Targeting: Build and refine audience segments including lookalikes, interest-based, retargeting, and CRM-based custom audiences. Continuously test new prospecting pools and exclusion strategies.
  • Landing Page & Funnel Optimization: Collaborate with the web and CRO teams to test and optimize landing pages, product pages, and checkout flows to improve conversion rates from paid traffic.
  • Analytics & Attribution: Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance across platforms. Own reporting dashboards and provide actionable insights on KPIs including ROAS, CAC, CPM, CTR, CVR, and contribution margin.
  • Testing & Experimentation: Run structured A/B and multivariate tests across creative, copy, audiences, placements, and bidding strategies. Document learnings and build a knowledge base of what works.
  • Pixel & Tracking Infrastructure: Ensure accurate tracking, pixel implementation, and conversion event setup across all platforms. Stay ahead of privacy changes (iOS updates, cookie deprecation) and adapt measurement strategies accordingly.
  • Scaling & New Channels: Identify and test emerging paid channels (Pinterest, Snapchat, programmatic, connected TV, podcasts) to diversify the acquisition mix and find untapped growth opportunities.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor ad strategies, creative trends, and market dynamics in the wellness, beauty, and DTC space to inform Afina’s positioning and messaging.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid media for a DTC or e-commerce brand, with direct P&L accountability.
  • Proven track record of scaling paid channels profitably, with demonstrated ability to manage $50K+/month in ad spend.
  • Deep platform expertise across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max). TikTok Ads experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar attribution platforms.
  • Experience with creative testing frameworks and a strong instinct for what makes scroll-stopping ad content.
  • Data-driven decision maker who balances short-term performance with long-term brand building.
  • Self-starter mentality—comfortable owning channels end-to-end in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the beauty, wellness, skincare, or health/home product category.
  • Familiarity with Shopify and its analytics ecosystem.
  • Experience with UGC sourcing and creator-driven ad content pipelines.
  • Knowledge of post-purchase survey attribution (e.g., Fairing/Enquire Labs, KnoCommerce).
  • Understanding of media mix modeling or incrementality testing.
  • Basic skills in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere) for quick ad iterations.
